L'ORO - Linde Werdelin

Anyone familiar with L’Oro Jewellery in Vaughan Mills Mall knows it for not only premiering international timepiece brands in Canada, but also bringing in the faces that stand behind these global standouts.

In October, the famous face was Jorn Werdelin of luxury sports watchmaker Linde Werdelin, who L’Oro Jewellery founder Haigo Derian eagerly introduced as his latest exclusive partner. With the fantasy of James Bond, Werdelin and his leading-edge watches were on-hand to exemplify a modern movement in timepiece making. “The basis of this brand is a philosophy that has no compromise. The micro-machining on the product is incredible, and what makes the brand special is how niche [it] is. Last year, there were 400 units manufactured, and this year, we’re looking at about 500 – and everything manufactured is sold,” Werdelin tells an excited crowd of collectors.

The collection of Linde Werdelin pieces includes the high-profile White Watch timepiece and the evolutionary SpidoSpeed Chronograph.
