As one of Canada’s leading investment and management companies, Skyline International Development Inc. holds ownership over several eminent establishments. Having grown tremendously since its inception in 1998, Skyline now has a property portfolio that includes the high-profile King Edward Hotel, Horseshoe Resort, Cosmopolitan Hotel and Residences, Pantages Hotel and Spa, and Port McNicoll.

The brainchild behind this thriving company is Israeli-born businessman Gil Blutrich. The birth of Skyline came immediately after Blutrich immigrated to Toronto to expand his Tel-Aviv based real estate company Mishorim Development Group. Since then, he’s become an industry mover-and-shaker, business newsmaker, and winner of Ernst and Young’s prominent Entrepreneur of the Year award for Ontario in 2004. “I’m always thinking, which is not always great, but my mind is all the time running, and thinking; trying to develop what we already have and what the is next step,” says the successful CEO.

One of Skyline’s largest projects is Northern Ontario’s Port McNicoll development. The company plans to invest $1.6 billion over the next 10 years for the establishment of a world-class waterfront village and another $3 billion in the same time frame to cultivate the Georgian Valley region. “Since1965, the entire six-and-a-half miles of pristine shoreline was closed, and now we are really bringing life,” says Blutrich. “We want to take advantage of our location right in front of the 30, 000 Islands and make it a fantastic camp base for exploration,” he adds.

There is no stopping him - PLEASE open your eyes Ontario! This man has just purchased Horseshoe Resort and does not want timeshare owners. Families who have enjoyed their week there for years and who own 13 more years are being squeezed out. We are being told to pay 1800$ maintenance fees this year and over 5,000 next year or forfit the unit to Skyline. Disgusting. Please see: http://lodgesathorseshoe.blogspot.com/
