Having successfully treated over 700 patients suffering from Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMD or TMJ) – a disorder caused when the joint that allows movement of the jaw gets worn out or inflamed causing clicking or popping when you open or close your mouth – Goodfellow says his greatest sense of accomplishment is when he’s told his work has helped someone.

“At the end of the treatment, having an 18-year-old girl or a 58-year-old woman turn to me and say their face is a different colour, I’m sleeping now, I can concentrate, I feel so much better – that’s a gift.”
